Industrial Epoxy Coating Services

Two-part, 100% solids epoxy systems engineered for Florida's toughest conditions — pool decks, lanais, driveways, garages, and commercial floors.

At Nature Coast Maintenance Solutions, we don't use consumer-grade coatings. Every project uses industrial-grade, two-part 100% solids epoxy systems sourced from our exclusive suppliers — the same products trusted in warehouses, aircraft hangars, and commercial facilities.

THE DIFFERENCE

Why Our Epoxy Systems Are Different

100% Solids, Two-Part Epoxy

Unlike water-based or single-component coatings, our two-part 100% solids epoxy contains zero solvents. Every drop you apply stays on the floor — no shrinkage, no off-gassing, maximum film build.

UV & Chemical Resistant Top Coats

Florida sun is relentless. Our UV-stable polyaspartic and polyurea top coats resist yellowing, fading, and chemical staining — keeping your surface looking new for years.

Rated for Forklift & Airplane Traffic

Our systems are engineered to withstand extreme mechanical loads. If it can handle a forklift, it can handle your car, your patio furniture, and everything in between.

Exclusive Supplier Relationships

We source all liquid products through exclusive supplier partnerships — meaning you get commercial-grade materials not available at any hardware store.

OUR PROCESS

Preparation Is Everything

The most common reason coatings fail is poor surface preparation. We use industrial diamond grinding equipment to mechanically profile every surface before any product is applied. This creates the mechanical bond that makes our coatings last — not just stick.

01

Surface Inspection

We assess cracks, spalling, moisture, and existing coatings before we touch a tool.

02

Diamond Grinding

Industrial grinders open the concrete pores and create a surface profile for maximum adhesion.

03

Crack & Spall Repair

All cracks and damaged areas are repaired with compatible materials before coating begins.

04

Primer Application

A penetrating epoxy primer seals the surface and ensures a chemical bond with the topcoat system.

05

Broadcast & Top Coat

Color flake or quartz broadcast is applied, then sealed with our UV-resistant polyaspartic top coat.

FAQ

Epoxy Coating Questions Answered

How long does an epoxy floor coating last?
A properly installed 100% solids epoxy coating typically lasts 10–20 years in residential settings and 5–10 years in high-traffic commercial environments. Longevity depends on surface prep quality, traffic load, and UV exposure. We use industrial-grade 2-part epoxies — not the thin big-box store kits — which dramatically extends service life.
Can epoxy be applied over existing concrete cracks or damage?
Minor cracks and spalling are repaired before coating. We grind the surface, fill voids with polyurea or epoxy filler, and profile the slab for maximum adhesion. Severely damaged or structurally compromised concrete may need full repair first — we assess this during our free quote visit.
How long does the installation take and when can I use the floor?
Most residential garage or lanai projects are completed in 1–2 days. Light foot traffic is typically safe after 24 hours; vehicle traffic after 72 hours. Full cure to maximum hardness takes 7 days. We'll give you a specific timeline based on your project and the Florida humidity at time of install.
Is epoxy slippery when wet?
Standard epoxy can be slippery when wet. We add anti-slip aggregate (aluminum oxide or shark grip) to all pool decks, garage floors, and any surface exposed to water or Florida rain. This gives you a safe, textured surface without sacrificing the clean look.
Do you serve areas outside Citrus County?
Yes. While we're based in Citrus County, we regularly serve Ocala, Dunnellon, and surrounding Marion and Levy County areas. Call us at (352) 559-5522 to confirm availability for your location.
Do you offer discounts for veterans or military families?
Absolutely — veteran discounts are always available at Nature Coast Maintenance Solutions, no expiration and no exceptions. We're proud to honor those who served.
